Working Remotely During & After the Covid Pandemic

Prior to the Pandemic, I’ve always worked from an office location for my employer. I looked forward to days when I can request to work from home. It could be for a day or two and is a special consideration that happens once in a while. 15 years later, the Covid-19 pandemic hit and working from home became the norm. Over the last 22 months, I’ve worked from my home office and even though the pandemic seems to be coming to an end; it is unlikely that I will go back to an office.

Working from home has its challenges but my work has not suffered but I do see myself working longer and longer hours that when I usually go into the office. The line between work and home life is blurred but it is essential to create that boundary for a healthy work-life balance.
